About
Suzanne Twing is a Marin County REALTOR® with Vanguard Properties, specializing in transitional real estate moves including downsizing, relocation, and life-stage transitions for seniors and long-term homeowners. She serves clients throughout Mill Valley, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Kentfield, Ross, San Anselmo, San Rafael, Sausalito, Tiburon, Belvedere, Novato, Marin City, and West Marin.
Suzanne brings a multigenerational foundation in real estate. Her mother’s four-decade career in the industry and her early professional experience partnering at Marvin Gardens Real Estate in the East Bay provided her with hands-on experience in client representation, negotiation, and market navigation.
She has lived in Marin County since 2012 and has personally experienced multiple home transitions while raising her family across Mill Valley neighborhoods. This lived perspective informs her ability to guide clients through emotionally and logistically complex decisions with structure, clarity, and steady communication.
Prior to real estate, Suzanne spent nearly three decades in marketing, communications, and event production, including producing and promoting premieres for HBO and later working with Glassdoor. This background supports her approach to listing strategy, property presentation, negotiation, and transaction management.
In 2014, Suzanne and her husband Michael, a contractor and designer, founded Twinkle Lighting, a seasonal and architectural lighting company serving Marin communities including Tiburon, Ross, and Larkspur, as well as local businesses such as Picco, Scoma’s, and Acqua Hotel. This work deepened her familiarity with Marin’s neighborhoods, architecture, and residential character.
Suzanne is known for a relationship-driven approach focused on guiding clients through meaningful life transitions rather than transactional sales. Her work emphasizes preparation, communication, and informed decision-making in competitive market conditions.
She is also active in community service, supporting initiatives related to women’s health and food insecurity, and has served on the Board of Friends of the Mill Valley Library.
